That Salon article about "pro-lifers" is right on the money. Unfortunately, the reasonable and responsible courses of action it suggests would sound completely ludicrous to the people who most need to read it.

Hi PP. Yes, I agree. Pro-life people would rather deal with the abortion problem only *after* there's an unwanted pregnancy, instead of preventing the situation in the first place. I think their motives are pretty mixed up - it seems to be more important for them to control people's behavior and beliefs than to lower the abortion rate.
